Issue: Unable to browse through folders using Java Upload /Download Tool.

Cause: This issue is caused by a recent change to how Java functions within Safari browser with Java 7 Update 51 (and newer).

Solution:

To correct this issue, you must enable Java script to run in “unsafe” mode within the Preferences / Security settings of Safari for the webpage you wish to use the

download/uploader tool on. See steps (screenshots) below to enable.

Step 1) Visit the page and attempt to use Java Tool as normal (you’ve likely done this step already and found the issue).

Step 2) Open “Safari” dropdown menu and select “Preferences”.

Step 3) Select “Security” icon.

Step 4) Click on "Manage Web Settings...".

Step 5) Select the dropdown menu next to your site name and change from “Allow” to “Always Allow”, and then select the Done button. You then need to Repeat this step but this time select “Run in Unsafe Mode”.

Step 6) Select the “Trust” button on the following Popup screen.

You should now be able to browse through your folders properly when using the Java Download/Upload tool.
